Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Toss diced apples with cinnamon and sugar in a bowl; set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and sugar until combined.
- In a separate bowl, beat the egg; mix in milk and vanilla until smooth.
- Combine wet ingredients into dry ingredients; stir gently until just combined. Fold in the prepared apples carefully.
- Spoon dollops of batter onto the baking sheet with space between each fritter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Whisk together powdered sugar, lemon juice, and water to create the glaze.
