  • 1/2 head of cauliflower (cut into bite-sized florets)
  • 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs (whisked)
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 tbsp vinegar
  • 1/8 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 1 tsp sriracha
  • 1 tsp ketchup
  • 2 tsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Dip the cauliflower florets in whisked eggs, allowing excess to drip off.
  3. Coat each floret in panko breadcrumbs and place them on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. While baking, prepare the orange sauce by combining orange juice, sugar, soy sauce, garlic, and other ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil then thicken with cornstarch mixed in water.
  6. Drizzle the sauce over baked cauliflower before serving.
