Description

Banana Split Fluff Salad is a delightful twist on the classic dessert, bringing together the beloved flavors of a traditional banana split in a fluffy and creamy salad.


Ingredients

  • 1 package (3.4 oz) quick-set banana pudding mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple (undrained)
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping (thawed)
  • 1 heaping cup small marshmallows
  • ½ cup finely chopped walnuts (plus extra for garnish)
  • ¼ cup tiny chocolate bits (plus extra for garnish)
  • 2 fresh bananas (sliced)
  • 20 ounces maraschino cherries (halved and dried)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the banana pudding mix with the undrained crushed pineapple until thickened.
  2. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until well blended.
  3. Add in the marshmallows, most of the walnuts, most of the chocolate bits, banana slices, and halved cherries; mix gently.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 60 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle with reserved walnuts and chocolate bits.
