Description

Beef and Noodles is a comforting dish that brings together tender beef, creamy gravy, and egg noodles for a delicious meal that’s perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or beef tips
  • 2 ½ cups beef broth
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ lb egg noodles (uncooked)
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 small onion (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour

Instructions

  1. Combine sauce ingredients (beef broth, chicken bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, thyme) in a large measuring cup.
  2. Season ground beef with salt and pepper. In a deep skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and diced onions until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain grease.
  3. Boil salted water in a pot; cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for one minute, then stir in flour and cook until fragrant.
  5. Gradually add the sauce mixture while stirring continuously until thickened; add cream of mushroom soup and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in cooked noodles and shredded cheese until well combined.
