- 2 ½ cups beef broth
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ½ lb egg noodles (uncooked)
- 1 (10.5 oz) can cream of mushroom soup
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 chicken bouillon cube
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon mustard powder
- ½ teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt
- Pepper
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Combine sauce ingredients (beef broth, chicken bouillon cube, soy sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, mustard powder, thyme) in a large measuring cup.
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper. In a deep skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and diced onions until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain grease.
- Boil salted water in a pot; cook egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté minced garlic for one minute, then stir in flour and cook until fragrant.
- Gradually add the sauce mixture while stirring continuously until thickened; add cream of mushroom soup and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in cooked noodles and shredded cheese until well combined.
