  • 2 tablespoons avocado oil
  • 6 tablespoons softened butter
  • 6 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Allow the beef tenderloin to come to room temperature (1-2 hours).
  2. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  3. In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme; set aside.
  4. Pat the beef dry and season it generously with salt and pepper.
  5. Heat avocado oil in a cast-iron pan over medium-high heat; sear the beef on all sides (about 10 minutes).
  6. Spread the herbed garlic butter over the top of the tenderloin and transfer the pan to the oven.
  7. Roast for 15-20 minutes until desired doneness is achieved.
