  • 1 (10 oz.) bag peanut butter chips (approximately 2 cups)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • flaky sea salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flours, cornstarch, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; set aside.
  3. Cream together the cold butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
  4. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, vanilla extract, and milk until combined.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture until just mixed; fold in peanut butter chips.
  6. Scoop dough onto cookie sheets and gently flatten with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
