Ingredients
- 1 lb Monon Meats Smoked Sausage, thinly sliced
- 2 lbs potatoes, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the smoked sausage slices until fully cooked. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the diced potatoes, cooked sausage, sautéed onion and garlic, cheese, ranch dressing mix, milk, melted butter, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 60 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown on top and the potatoes are tender.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
