  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season chicken with olive oil, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat, pan-fry chicken until golden brown (about 8–10 minutes). Remove and dice.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté shallots and garlic until fragrant.
  5. Stir in flour to create a roux; gradually whisk in chicken broth, milk, and cream until thickened.
  6. Add diced chicken and uncooked gnocchi to the sauce; mix well.
  7. Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
