- 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

- 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded parmesan
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Boil the gluten-free pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with this mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from pan and slice.
- In the same skillet, melt butter; add dry shallots and Italian seasoning, stirring for one minute.
- Stir in gluten-free flour and scrape up browned bits; then add chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth.
- Incorporate shredded parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
- Toss drained pasta into the skillet with sauce; if needed, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
- Serve sliced chicken over pasta and enjoy!
