  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the gluten-free pasta in a large pot according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with this mixture.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for an additional 10 to 12 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove from pan and slice.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter; add dry shallots and Italian seasoning, stirring for one minute.
  6. Stir in gluten-free flour and scrape up browned bits; then add chicken broth and heavy cream, whisking until smooth.
  7. Incorporate shredded parmesan cheese until melted into the sauce.
  8. Toss drained pasta into the skillet with sauce; if needed, add reserved pasta water for desired consistency.
  9. Serve sliced chicken over pasta and enjoy!
