  • 100 grams granulated sugar
  • 100 grams almond flour
  • 100 grams powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a double boiler, heat egg whites and granulated sugar until melted, then whip until stiff peaks form.
  3. Sift together almond flour, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar, then gently fold into the meringue.
  4. Pipe silver dollar-sized circles onto prepared sheets and bake for approximately 13 minutes.
  5. For the filling, beat together peanut butter, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fluffy.
  6. Once cooled, sandwich filling between macaron shells.
