  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 tart apples (peeled and chopped)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • For the glaze: 1/2 cup powdered sugar, apple cider

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix together dry streusel ingredients; add melted butter and mix until moist.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugars until fluffy; add egg, vanilla, and sour cream.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder; gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  5. Layer half the batter in the pan, top with apples and streusel; repeat with remaining batter and streusel.
  6. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
  7. Cool slightly before removing from the pan; drizzle with glaze.
