  • 8 oz pasta (penne, fettuccine, or your choice)
  • 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1 tsp salt (or to taste)
  • ½ tsp black pepper (or to taste)
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve about ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sauté sliced beef for 3–4 minutes until browned; remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant. Pour in beef broth and Worcestershire sauce if using; scrape the pan for flavor.
  4. Add heavy cream, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer until slightly thickened for about 5 minutes.
  5. Toss in cooked pasta and reserved water as needed to reach desired consistency; add back the beef.
  6. Stir in Parmesan cheese and garnish with parsley before serving.
