  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt & pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil. Sauté sliced mushrooms and garlic for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
  3. Remove mushrooms and add white wine, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, flour, and Dijon mustard to the skillet; stir until smooth.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes until thickened. Return mushrooms to the skillet and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Drain pasta and toss with the sauce in the skillet. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
