Ingredients
- 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine or linguine
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1/3 cup dry white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook pasta according to package directions until al dente.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, melt butter and olive oil. Sauté sliced mushrooms and garlic for about 5 minutes until the mushrooms are tender.
- Remove mushrooms and add white wine, Italian seasoning, lemon juice, flour, and Dijon mustard to the skillet; stir until smooth.
