Ingredients
- 12 oz broccoli florets
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp shaoxing wine
- 1.5 tbsp sesame oil
- 1.5 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 tsp sugar
- 3/4 cup cold water
Instructions
- Wash and strain the broccoli florets.
- In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, oyster sauce, soy sauce, shaoxing wine, sesame oil, cornstarch, sugar, and cold water.
- Boil water in a wok or large pan and blanch the broccoli for 2–3 minutes until crisp-tender.
- Strain the broccoli and transfer to a serving plate.
- In the same pan over medium heat, simmer the sauce mixture until thickened (about 1–2 minutes).
- Pour the sauce over the broccoli, toss gently to coat, and serve immediately.
