Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage (breakfast or Italian)
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
  • 2 cups bread cubes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped spinach (optional)
  • 1/4 cup diced onions (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until cooked through.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Layer cooked sausage and any optional ingredients in the baking dish; pour the egg mixture over top.
  5. Bake for 30-40 minutes until set and golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
