Description

Fireball Whiskey Caramels are a delightful fusion of sweet and spicy flavors that will elevate any dessert table. These chewy confections blend rich buttery caramel with a kick of cinnamon whiskey, making them perfect for festive gatherings or as thoughtful gifts during the holidays.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 16 ounces brown sugar
  • 14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1 cup butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ⅓ cup Fireball whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, Fireball whiskey, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Cook over medium heat until boiling without stirring. Monitor until it reaches 246°F (firm ball stage), about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract quickly until smooth.
  5. Pour the hot caramel into the prepared pan and let it cool completely at room temperature for 2 to 4 hours.
  6. Once cooled, cut into squares using a buttered knife and wrap each piece in wax paper.
