Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice; stir until blended.
  4. Pour the rice mixture into the prepared pan and place the chicken breasts on top.
  5. Sprinkle the Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken.
  6. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 1 to 1.5 hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
  7. Optional: Uncover during the last 10 minutes and add shredded cheese for an extra cheesy finish.
