Ingredients
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (or ribeye/strip steak)
- Salt & pepper (to taste)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 tablespoons butter (divided)
- 4–5 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- Let the steak rest at room temperature for 30 minutes. Cut into 1" cubes and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak cubes in batches for about 2 minutes on each side until they reach medium doneness. Remove cooked steak and set aside.
- Lower the heat to medium-low, add remaining butter and minced garlic to the pan, stirring for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Return the steak to the skillet, toss to coat in the garlic butter sauce, and serve immediately garnished with parsley.
