Ingredients
- 12 oz. package of King’s Hawaiian rolls
- 16 oz. thinly sliced deli ham
- 7–8 oz. sliced Swiss cheese
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter
- Optional: 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally.
- Place the bottom halves in the greased dish and toast in the oven for 3-5 minutes.
- Optionally spread mayonnaise on the bottom buns.
- Layer sliced ham and Swiss cheese over the bottom buns, then place the top halves back on.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and mix in poppy seeds, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top buns.
- Bake covered with foil for 10 minutes; then remove foil and bake another 10 minutes until heated through.
- Let cool slightly before slicing into individual sliders.
