  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 packets hot cocoa mix (not sugar-free)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Mallow Bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a standing mixer, cream together softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, hot cocoa mix, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture until combined.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips and Mallow Bits. Cover dough and chill for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are slightly browned.
  6. Cool on sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
