  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (divided)
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp baking powder
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  5. Preheat oven to 450°F. Prepare biscuit dough by combining flour, baking powder, salt, and cold butter until crumbly. Stir in buttermilk until just combined.
  6. Shape the biscuit dough and cut out biscuits; bake for about 15–17 minutes until golden.
  7. For the hot honey sauce, simmer honey with red pepper flakes and vinegar until well mixed.
