- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
- 2 tsps Sambal Oelek
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger (grated)
- 2 tsps cornstarch
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine liquid aminos, brown sugar, garlic, rice wine vinegar, Sambal Oelek, sesame oil, ginger, and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch with water until dissolved. Gradually add to the saucepan.
- Whisk continuously over medium-low heat for about 5–10 minutes until thickened.
- Cool slightly before transferring to a jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
