- 1 (2-lb) salmon fillet
- 1 lb. linguine
- 4 tbsp. melted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- Juice and zest of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Season the salmon with salt and pepper, place lemon slices on the sheet, then top with the salmon and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for about 25 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
- While baking, boil salted water in a large pot, cook linguine according to package directions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
- In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, and reserved pasta water; season well.
- Combine cooked linguine in the skillet with the sauce and gently fold in salmon chunks.
- Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
