Ingredients

  • 1 (2-lb) salmon fillet
  • 1 lb. linguine
  • 4 tbsp. melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • Juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Season the salmon with salt and pepper, place lemon slices on the sheet, then top with the salmon and drizzle with olive oil.
  3. Bake for about 25 minutes until the salmon flakes easily.
  4. While baking, boil salted water in a large pot, cook linguine according to package directions, reserving 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  5. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter, add garlic and cook until fragrant. Stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, zest, and reserved pasta water; season well.
  6. Combine cooked linguine in the skillet with the sauce and gently fold in salmon chunks.
  7. Serve topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
