  • 4 (6 oz) Salmon filets
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 4 tsp Water
  • 2/3 cup Orange juice
  • 1 tsp Orange zest
  • 1/3 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water. Combine all sauce ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil, place salmon filets on it, and baste with sauce (reserve some).
  4. Bake salmon for 14 minutes or until flaky; baste once more and broil for an additional minute for a caramelized top.
  5. Serve over steamed rice or greens, garnished with sesame seeds.
