  • 1/2 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
  • 2 tablespoons melted refined coconut oil or butter
  • 2 eggs or flax eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 3/4 cup blanched almond flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond butter, coconut sugar, maple syrup, non-dairy milk, melted oil or butter, eggs (or flax eggs), and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Add cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir with a wooden spoon until fully combined; the batter will be thick.
  4. Line an 8×8 baking pan with parchment paper and pour the batter in. Spread it evenly with a rubber spatula.
  5. Bake for 22–28 minutes; check at 25 minutes with a toothpick for desired fudginess.
  6. Let cool completely before slicing.
