  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, combine peanut butter, softened butter, and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Mix in one egg and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually incorporate into the wet mixture.
  4. For the brownie dough, whisk melted butter and white sugar; add cocoa powder, an additional egg, and vanilla.
  5. Fold in extra flour, baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips until smooth.
  6. Chill both doughs for about 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of each dough onto the prepared sheet; swirl together using a toothpick.
  8. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
