Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 4 oz cream cheese
  • Chopped Reese's peanut butter cups (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, milk, peanut butter, and oil; mix until well blended.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes before poking holes across the top with a toothpick.
  5. For the ganache, heat heavy cream until boiling, pour over chocolate chips in a bowl, let sit, then stir until smooth.
  6. Drizzle warm ganache over the cooled cake so it soaks into the holes.
  7. For the frosting, blend cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk or cream, and softened butter until smooth; spread over the cake.
  8. Garnish with chopped Reese's cups and chill before serving.
