  • 1/2 cup whipping cream (for caramel sauce)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for caramel sauce)
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt (for caramel sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, pumpkin pie spice, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Whisk these ingredients together until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix vegetable oil, brown sugar, and white sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Then add eggs, vanilla extract, and pumpkin puree. Mix until fully incorporated.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture using a rubber spatula to fold gently until just combined.
