- Melt the chocolate chips in a double boiler over low heat until smooth.
- Roll the chilled mixture into balls about 1 ½ tablespoons each, yielding approximately 18 truffles.
- Coat each ball in the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until set.
- Once hardened, roll each truffle in the remaining powdered sugar before serving.
