  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, coarsely grind the raw shrimp.
  2. Transfer to a mixing bowl and add breadcrumbs, egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the shrimp balls in batches for about 4–5 minutes until golden brown on all sides. Drain on paper towels.
