Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (12 Tbsp; 170g) unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- 3/4 cup (150g) packed light or dark brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, at room temperature
- 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour, spooned & leveled
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 and 1/4 cup (225g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 12 regular marshmallows, cut in half
- one 4 ounce (113g) semi-sweet chocolate bar, finely chopped
- 1/3 cup (35g) crushed graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Cream together softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt before gradually adding it to the wet mixture.
- Fold in semi-sweet chocolate chips.
- Chill the dough for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C) and shape chilled dough into balls.
- Bake for 10–11 minutes until edges are golden.
- Top with halved marshmallows and broil until toasted.
- Drizzle melted chocolate over marshmallows and sprinkle with graham cracker crumbs.
