  • 16 oz elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese (shredded, reserve half for topping)
  • 8 oz colby jack cheese (shredded, reserve half for topping)
  • 8 oz part-skim mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 8 oz American cheese (cubed)
  • 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 large eggs
  • kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • 12 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp mustard powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C) and butter a baking dish.
  2. Cook elbow macaroni in chicken broth until just under al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine half-and-half, heavy cream, cheeses (except reserved), and seasonings.
  4. Stir in cooked macaroni and eggs until well mixed.
  5. Pour into the baking dish and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake for about 35 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
