Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk or water
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 12 oz candy melts
  • Sprinkles or nonpareils for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Prepare the cake batter according to package instructions.
  2. Bake until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow cooling completely.
  3. Crumble the cooled cake into a bowl and mix with buttercream until combined.
  4. Roll into 1¼-inch balls and chill for 15 minutes.
