  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 teaspoons liquid smoke
  • 2 teaspoons salt

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine all ingredients and stir well.
  2. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer for 30-35 minutes until thickened.
  3. Sterilize jars by boiling them for 10 minutes.
  4. Ladle the hot sauce into sterilized jars, leaving about ½ inch headspace.
  5. Wipe the rims, seal with lids, and process in a water bath canner for 20 minutes.
  6. Allow jars to cool before storing in a cool, dark place.
