  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips
  • ⅓ cup valentine sprinkles
  • 24 chocolate hearts (unwrapped)

Instructions

  2. In a stand mixer, cream together cold butter and both sugars on medium speed for about 4 minutes until creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the butter-sugar mixture until just combined; fold in mini chocolate chips and valentine sprinkles.
  5. Use a cookie scoop to place dough mounds on lined baking sheets, topping each with additional heart sprinkles.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  7. Cool slightly; press a chocolate heart into the center of each cookie as they cool.
